Spreading the Gospel through Correspondence Courses

“Praise the Lord, you (Set Free) found me!!!

Thanks for all you do. When I moved I had to leave my property behind. You now have my new address. God bless you all, Richard.”

“God has said, “Never will I leave you or forsake you.”  So, we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:5

Nicholas, while studying the lesson Guide to Christian Growth wrote,

“Some days in prison I am surrounded by sin and chaos, and it can be trying. Yet, I stay in the Word of God and fill my time with faith-based programming, prayer and Bible studies. These help me avoid backsliding. I also try to only spend time around like-minded Christians.”

Kevin shared the impact of the lesson of the Parable Of the Seeds growing in fine soil and wrote,

“Once I realized I was in rocky and then thorny soil being choked out and not producing, it lit a fire under me to begin to produce some good fruit.”

James responded to a question in a Navigator course Beginning a New Life.

He wrote, “I often find myself in what seems to be an absolutely hopeless situation against overwhelming odds. Dissatisfaction with worldly success and a midlife crisis led to searching for completion in drugs, alcohol, pornography, and sexual immorality. The hole deep inside me got deeper and wider.  Nothing worked and I thought there was only one way to stop hurting-suicide. Couldn’t do it. In the natural we do not see any chance of victory. It may be homelessness, illness, imprisonment, unemployment, or any of a hundred situations. But I must remember, God has the final say, ultimate authority, all power and perfect timing. I thought I had all the answers but after coming to Christ I realize how prideful it was to think I could run my life without God’s help. Frankly, I find it a relief to seek His will and guidance in everything first. Without His direction I sit still.”

Jeffrey wrote about the momentous change in His life by saying,

“My most momentous change in life is not prison or even my children which was momentous, no doubt, but finding my faith in Christ is my momentous change in life and I love it!  I’ll never go back to my old self. I’m a new man in Christ.”

Please pray for Nicholas and his wife to have success in selling their house.

And thank you EVERYONE for your support in every way for our Set Free students who follow our Lord as they grow in faith through Bible study.

James writes, “Thank you all for these courses. I am enjoying them and am learning and understanding and being guided through God’s Word.”

DIRECTOR’S COMMENTS

“ The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. “     Psalm 28:7

Though we are living in a world of chaos, wars, hatred and uncertainty, as children of God we can rest in His sovereignty and rejoice in the reality that no matter what the rest of 2025 may bring, He will be our strength and shield through the trials and tribulations of life.

We are counting on your prayers and financial support as we minister to the spiritual needs of the prison population. Pray for the chaplains who are the key to getting these lessons to the inmates. Also, pray that God will send us a few more committed volunteers who know the Word.  Again, thank you for faithfully helping this ministry.         MARANATHA!
