16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3
Nelson, translated from Spanish says he is very grateful for the opportunity to find the way for spiritual healing with our Lord Jesus. He asks for prayers to be a good person, son, brother. And so he can be an instrument for others to reach salvation. He wants to keep up with these courses!
Praise the Lord, three students sent word of their salvation through the studies: Brittany and Crystal each accepted Christ as Savior while doing the sixth course book “You Can Live Forever,” and Omar was saved as he completed book three, “Greatest Man Alive.”
Roberto answered the question of his condition before doing the third book, “Greatest Man Alive” that he had been born again, and included how that came about: “I betrayed people, I was a thief, alcoholic, drug addict, I fought, manipulated, came to prison and still chose to resist Christ Jesus. Until one day I was in segregation – I fell to my knees and cried out to God for forgiveness and accepted Christ Jesus as my Savior. I now walk in Christ and speak His scripture to everyone that listens, Praise Jesus.”
Cedric wrote, “Love you all and forever in your debt. You gave me something secular education could not, the good and proper way a man should live before God. And that has made the difference in how I handle the good, bad and ugly every day. God has used you more than you know. Keep doing the excellent work.
John B cites Matthew 5:16, writes, “I had started practicing a Christ-like life; TWICE people came up to me asking why I was so happy. Both times I didn’t witness (about joyous happiness) – the Holy Spirit convicted me to NOT run away from the ball. But to be an Ambassador for Christ, pick up the ball and run with it. It was a humbling experience but I have gotten much better at explaining “joy in the Lord” All in the power of the Holy Spirit.
In answer to the question in study 13, “God’s Word is Truth” What is your opinion of the Bible at this point? John writes: The Bible is the user manual of life, studying the Bible is feasting on God’s word Deut 8:3. Make scripture a central part of our lives Deut 11:18-20. Apply to your life what you study in the Bible Ps 1:1-3. Studying and applying God’s word keeps us pure Ps 119:9. Memorizing God’s word will keep us from sin. Ps 119:11. Study of God’s word will give us joy Ps 119:14,16. Hide God’s Word in your heart Ps 119:11. Studying the Bible helps our faith grow Romans 10:17. Studying the Bible teaches us what is true 2 Tim 3:14-17.
Thomas writes, Dear Friends at SFPM, I wanted to thank you once again for all you have done for me and Brian as our faith grows in study together. I continue to pray every day that my other children and soon grandchildren join us. Thank you for allowing this wonderful study program into our lives! God bless you and keep you safe! “Brethren, Pray for us.” 1 Thessalonians 5:25
“Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified, just us it did also with you; “ 2 Thessalonians 3:1
In both these verses we see Paul asking the brethren to pray for him and those laboring with him. God was doing a mighty work through Paul because of the prayers of the brethren! We are not Paul, but we greatly covet your prayers for wisdom, boldness, courage, open doors, fruit, good health and safety. We are able to continue this work at Set Free because of your prayers. Thank you for your generous giving for this ministry. We pray that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
