Spreading the Gospel through Correspondence Courses

As we step into the Gospel message, He will speak Truth into our lives and Love into our hearts.

The following inmates received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in a Set Free Bible Study:

Anega in the lesson Who Is Jesus Christ?

Karina while studying the lesson I’ll Take The High Road

Brian while doing the lesson The Greatest Man Alive

Matthew in You Can Live Forever

And Please Pray for:

Jessica and her Hearing on the 19th

Bradley who has no one to help him spiritually and no Chaplain

Bobby who hasn’t trusted Christ yet but is trying to figure it out

Quinterrous whom we have prayed for before and in answer to those prayers:

In a letter to Set Free he said, “I thank you for your advice on not giving up. When I get discouraged, I know that God will strengthen me just like Daniel. God is surely turning things around for me and my Bible study group is growing. God is working on every one of the brother’s hearts and minds. Eventually I’d like to work on becoming a Pastor or ordained Minister. I have decided to step into the calling that was prophesied over me when I was a child for I was called to preach and teach the Word of God. I no longer will go and fulfill my desires, but I will go forward and do the will of God and fulfill the purpose He has placed on my life. With love, Quinterrous”

And every week the inmates write their Testimonies about the Lord at work in their lives.

Matthew wrote, “I thank God for my cellmate. I’m thankful for his loyalty to God, compassion on others, his honesty, humility and servantlike attitude. “

Scott in response to the question Tell me the Story of Jesus. “Wow!  He took all that the evil ones could give and not even once did he ask for them to stop the pain. The pain is Jesus all. Wow! Just Wow!”

Mighty wrote, “I truly appreciate and love what you guys are doing with this program. I share with all who will listen. It’s really been helping me get more personal with the Word of God.”

Thomas wrote, “Dear friends at SFPM, God bless you and thank you for blessing me further and allowing me to participate in the Advanced Studies you offer!  I look forward always to my continued studies with you. Thank you for my wonderful “Study Bible”. All my love, Thomas”

Randy wrote, “Thank you for your time mailing reviewing and commenting on all of the materials. It is so refreshing to have something to immerse the mind and soul while being stuck in a place like this. Thanks for everything.”

And one last response from Thomas while studying Proverbs For Life. “I don’t deal with anger very well   I was only angry at myself and took it all out on myself, total self-destruction. But Christ pulled me out of that black hole and has given me a new life with no anger, ALL LOVE!”

DIRECTOR’S COMMENTS

I thank God for the amazing core of volunteers we have at Set Free who love the Lord and His work.  We can always use more volunteers with a commitment to serve the Lord.

We also thank God for our prayer partners and donors who make this ministry possible.  I pray that the Lord will show you how much you are loved and appreciated by us and the people we serve.  The Lord is using your prayers and gifts to encourage us and to meet our needs and the needs of those who are incarcerated.

" Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord”   1 Corinthians 15:58
