Spreading The Gospel Through Correspondence Courses

“Lo, how a Rose e’er blooming from tender stem hath sprung!

Of Jesse’s lineage coming, as those of old have sung.
It came, a flow’ret bright, amid the cold of winter,
when half spent was the night.”

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Testimonies given by inmates responding to questions in their lesson books

Thomas in response to a question in Walkin the Walk, an advanced course, wrote “The correspondence courses

have taught me the truth about God’s Word and have helped me to get closer to Him in my walk and His salvation.

When I was in prison (He has been released, but continues the courses), I spent my time helping others who were lost.

Now that I am out I remain true to them by sending my enrollment cards to them for these wonderful studies.”

Aaron wrote: “God has comforted me through many trials in prison. I try to pass on to trust God and He will see us through all trials according to His will.”

James said, “If I was dying I would think of inspiring someone close to me or even a stranger to turn to Jesus Christ because of the

peace He would give me through that storm.”  James continued in response to the question What then shall I do with Jesus who is

called Christ?  “When I read this question, it made me realize when faced to make a decision I always hope to make the right one or

I will be crucifying Him all over again

Director’s Comments

Well, another year has almost gone by so quickly and looking back at what He has accomplished through us is amazing.

The Lord has brought many to Himself. Praise the Lord!

Though we live in a world of chaos and uncertainty, we can always trust Him and rest in His sovereignty. As children of God, we can rest and rejoice in the reality that no matter what 2026 may bring, He will be our strength and shield through the trials and tribulations of life.

All of us at Set Free are humbled and grateful that the Lord is using our faithful volunteers and the Bible lessons to sow the seed of the Word into many lives. I personally want to say thank you for your prayers and financial contributions. Our expenses including the rent are going up and I pray that you will consider Set Free prison ministry for your year-end giving. It will be great to see what the Lord will have in store for us next year.

Have a merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
