“Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We at Set Free can comfort those in trouble with the Word of God as He promised and they in turn pass on that Godly comfort to others.
Anthony wrote to update his address but also to say “Thank you and could you keep me in your prayers. I really need prayer to do what God is asking me to do, to be His servant. This takes courage and sometimes I don’t feel safe doing this. This has nothing to do with prison but with an outside agency that is wronging God’s children, so please pray for me. Other than that, I am blessed and happy to be a child of God. I pray for you volunteers and the ministry.”

Gary writes in a response to the study of Revelation, “My salvation came in the form of an intervention which I immediately recognized as God telling me alright – enough is enough. He took me down, had me arrested to refrain me from doing any more harm.
By the way, God’s grace Eph 2:8-10. I really can’t take credit for overcoming addiction, but I can testify that God removed the desire to live that life. I simply repented and He took over.”
Wayne responded to the question of how God was leading in his life and where he could receive guidance. “Since I have been born again in the Holy Spirit, I pray all the time and one of those times I asked God “what will of yours do you want me to do? My ears started ringing and in my mind I heard, “Go and help others to be rid of their addictions, and assist them through My Word to build better individuals. Then I asked Him to show me a sign how to do this? Three days later the Pastor from Foundations for Nations greeted me before church and asked me if I’d be interested in facilitating a Life Recovery group.”
The question in Journey Through The Bible asks in what experience have you had victory over sin?
Jonathan answered, “While being incarcerated from July 11, 2024 to present God led me to Victory over fear, worry, anxiety, stress and temptation.”
While studying the lesson How to Succeed on the Streets Mario says the lesson opened his eyes to another process. “I myself being successful applying this information in my day to day life!”

Director’s Comments
It is with genuine appreciation that I write you today. My heart is overflowing with gratitude to those who fervently pray for and support the work at Set Free. This ministry is deeply indebted to faithful friends who encourage and strengthen us to proclaim a living savior to those who are incarcerated. Above all, I thank God for His faithfulness.
I am also thankful for all our volunteers who faithfully come every week to do the grading and counseling. We are praying for a few more volunteers with a real commitment for the work of the Lord who will be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to work on the computer. You may contact us by calling 720 638 2757. Again, thank you all for your faithful support for this ministry.
